Job description

Account Executive (Agriculture) – York Area. Basic Salary circa £35,000 + 20% Bonus (OTE £42,000) + 25 Days Holiday + Enhanced Pension + More + Continual training and development programme!!

The Job:

This is an exciting opportunity with a progressive market leader of animal feed and nutrition products.

Your role will be part home / office based, managing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities, via phone, online and occasional face to face.

You will have a track record in business to business and direct to customer relationships, ideally within the animal feed industry (but not essential). You will have experience of upselling to existing customers and generating leads into new business to continually grow your customer portfolio.

The key to success in this role, will be as much about personal qualities as experience - You will be customer focused, self-disciplined and motivated, outgoing, tenacious, have an excellent telephone manner, driven, with a positive outlook and a strong work ethic.

A full, and ongoing, training programme will be provided for self-development.

If you posses the above qualities, have previous experience in a comparable role, we want to hear from you!

The Candidate:

• Previous experience within a similar role.

• Positive attitude.

• Tenacious.

• Excellent communication skills – Telephone, email and in person.

• Target driven.

• A real team player.

• Good time management skills.

• Strong work ethic.

• Highly self-driven individual.

• Qualified in a related discipline would be an advantage.

• Ruminant nutrition experience would be an advantage.

• A full driving licence.

The Package:

• Basic Salary Circa £35,000

• 20% Bonus

• 25 Days Holiday + Bank holidays
