The Job:
This is a hands on finance position responsible for managing the full accounting cycle within a manufacturing and production led environment. The role is primarily remote with regular travel required to operational and production sites.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage accounting operations using SAGE Intacct
- Oversee the full accounting cycle in line with UK accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Prepare month end accounts including reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare VAT returns and support payroll accounting processes
- Produce management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Monitor production costs, stock movements and cost allocation processes
- Work closely with operational and production teams
- Support audits, compliance and internal financial controls
- Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes and procedures

The Company:
A rapidly expanding international agri-food organisation operating across multiple European locations. The business spans agricultural production, food manufacturing, and value added nutrition products, supplying customers across retail, food service and industrial sectors. The finance function plays a key role in supporting operational performance, cost control, and scalable growth across multi site production environments.

The Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture or production environments
- Strong understanding of the full UK accounting cycle and statutory requirements
- Proven experience using SAGE Intacct in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of stock accounting, production costing and operational finance
- Good understanding of UK VAT, payroll and financial reporting requirements
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel regularly to production sites
