Accounts Administrator
Accounts Administrator - Lincolnshire - Circa £40,000 Pro Rata + 4 Days per week + Hybrid / Home Working


The Company:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and reliable Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper to join a well-established family business operating across both the agricultural and construction sectors. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day accounts and administration, working closely with the business owner to ensure the smooth running of the office. The successful candidate will enjoy working independently while supporting two busy businesses. You will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day administration of the business using systems including QuickBooks, Gatekeeper and Farmplan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
- Recording financial data and reconciling accounts
- Using QuickBooks, Gatekeeper and Farmplan to manage financial and administrative processes
- Maintaining records across both the farming and construction businesses
- General office administration
- Managing paperwork and filing systems
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the office
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and customers
- Producing reports and maintaining spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
 
The Candidate:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts administration experience
- AAT qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Experience using QuickBooks (desirable)
- Experience using Gatekeeper software (desirable)
- Experience using Farmplan software (preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
- Good organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Previous experience within the agricultural, construction or plant hire sectors would be advantageous but is not essential
 
The Package:
Circa £40,000 (pro rata)
- Part-time – 4 days per week
- Potential for hybrid/home working

All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
