The Job:
Are you an experienced Agronomist looking for the opportunity to play a key role in one of Europe's most ambitious soft fruit production projects?
This is a unique opportunity to join a progressive horticultural business developing a large scale blueberry enterprise. Working as part of a forward thinking team, you'll be responsible for driving crop performance, implementing best practice and helping shape the future of a rapidly expanding operation.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day agronomy of a large scale commercial blueberry production business
- Monitor crop development, identifying nutritional, pest, disease and weed issues and implement appropriate management strategies
- Plan, coordinate and oversee daily crop production and field operations to maximise yield and quality
- Work closely with operational teams to improve production systems, resource efficiency and overall crop performance
- Analyse crop data and provide technical recommendations to support continuous improvement
- Lead and support field teams, promoting best practice and developing technical knowledge across the business
- Contribute to the introduction of new growing techniques and production methods within an innovative commercial environment

The Candidate:
- Degree qualified in Agronomy, Horticulture or a related discipline
- Previous experience working within commercial soft fruit production, ideally blueberries or other berry crops
- Strong understanding of crop husbandry, irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease management
- Experience coordinating agricultural operations and leading field based teams
- Confident using digital farm management and crop monitoring systems
- Practical, proactive and solutions focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, developing business
- English language skills required
