Commercial Director – Groundwork / Civil Engineering Contractors – Berkshire - Salary to £80,000 + Bonus, Car/allowance + Full benefits!
THE JOB:
Our client is a major provider of Groundwork and Civil engineering services throughout Southern England. We are working exclusively to find them a Commercial Director to lead and manage their agricultural contracting and farm services division, including full profit & loss responsibility and management of employees (directly or indirectly). You will also be responsible for driving sales, ensuring profitability, compliance, as well as drawing up annual plans for the division and will be reporting into the UK Managing Director. This is a fantastic and highly varied role with lots of responsibility. They have a strong list of high-profile customers and customer service and quality work is at the heart of what they do.
THE CANDIDATE:
•An understanding of groundwork operations is essential.
•Knowledge of relevant agricultural health and safety legislation.
•Strong commercial acumen and business development/sales driven with an ability to understand customer needs.
•Confident, effective people management skills.
•Strong IT skills.
•Strong financial skills including delivering on budgets.
•Works well under pressure.
•Self-motivated with a can do attitude.
•Experience within the agricultural sector, dealing with farmers and rural landowners would be an advantage.
THE PACKAGE:
£70k- £80k basic salary, plus excellent bonus, Company Car/Car allowance and excellent full benefits package!!
