Equine Instructor – Bedfordshire (UK) – Salary (circa) £21000 + Benefits!!
The Role:
The successful candidate will provide riding, practical and theory instruction to learners in an effective and innovative way, to ensure that individual learning needs are met. You will provide technical support in the equine yard and classroom areas and participate in the routine care of horses maintaining high professional standards. Furthermore, you will monitor the health, behaviour and welfare of all horses and keep appropriate records and oversee all practical areas across the programme with responsibility for Health and Safety. You will also communicate effectively with a range of customers and service providers.
The Candidate:
- Level 3 qualification in Horse Management or related specialism
- British Horse Society qualification; Stage 2 in Complete Horsemanship or UKCC Level 2.
- English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or a willingness to achieve literacy and numeracy level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience of working with young people in a training environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT literate
