Farm Operative - Livestock – Scotland– Salary circa £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) + Accommodation!!
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a farm operative to join this successful family run mixed livestock farm based in Rural Scotland. You will be part of a small team who are responsible for the day to day needs of a herd of beef cattle and sheep.
Caring for the health & wellbeing of the stock, following the feeding/nutritional regimes in place, AI, record keeping, calving/lambing and general farm housekeeping duties.
The successful candidate will be used to working outdoors in all weathers and physically fit to meet the needs of the herd across the farm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate looking for a long-term opportunity. Accommodation on site is also available if required.
THE CANDIDATE:
• Previous experience working in a similar role.
• Stock experience with both cows and sheep.
• Hard working and physically fit.
• Able to work on their own initiative and a team player.
• Comfortable with working outdoors in all weathers.
• Full drivers’ licence.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary £25,000 - £35,000 Dependant on the level of experience + accommodation!!
