Forest / Woodland Adviser – East Midlands & East Anglia - £28k basic + benefits!
THE JOB:
This Forest / Woodland Adviser – East Midlands & East Anglia job vacancy will involve managing and delivering a regional program of woodland conservation activity including the creation, protection and restoration of woods and trees on land throughout the East Midlands and East Anglia region. This will involve identifying and engaging with famers and landowners and other organisations to ensure trees and woods are an integral element of plans within prioritised landscapes. A core element of the role will be the development of effective partnerships and to build and maintain excellent relationships with a range of stakeholders in order to deliver the best results. The role will suit someone with a passion for the agri-environment / landscape / woodland / forestry / countryside. THE COMPANY:

THE CANDIDATE:
- Living in the East Midlands or East Anglia region.
- Good knowledge of the agri-environment, landscaping and woodlands.
- Ideally qualified to HND/degree level in forestry, land management or related field.
- Experience of working on landscape scale projects, ideally where this engages with individual farmers and landowners, organisations, businesses and councils.
- Woodland creation and/or management experience.
- A good working knowledge of land management practices.
- Great communication skills.
- An inspiring leader.
- Commercially aware.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: Circa £28k basic. Plus fantastic overall benefits package including fully expensed company car, mobile phone, home office equipment, possible performance-related bonus, pension, life assurance and 25 days holiday. As well as fantastic ongoing career progression opportunities.
