Machine Operator
Machine Operator - Sudbury - £250–£280 per day DOE
The Job:
This is a physically demanding, fast paced role suited to individuals who enjoy working outdoors, travelling and being part of a hardworking events team. Opportunities are available on both a self-employed and employed basis depending on experience and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload lorries and delivery vehicles
- Operate forklifts and site machinery efficiently onsite
- Manage stock movement to support build and breakdown teams
- Liaise with site managers, transport teams and drivers
- Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Assist with general site duties and manual work where required
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times
The Company:
All Land Serviced Ltd are recruiting Forklift / Telehandler Operators for the upcoming festival and events season across the UK. Working on some of the country’s largest festivals and live events, you will support the installation of temporary roadway systems, security fencing and event infrastructure.
The Candidate:
- Previous forklift / telehandler operating experience essential
- Valid forklift / telehandler licence/certification preferred
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours during peak periods
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working patterns, including weekends and extended shifts during event builds
The Package:
- Salary £250.00–£280.00 per day DOE
- Self employed or employed contracts available
- Accommodation provided where required
- Transport paid/provided
- Weekly pay

Working Pattern:
Seasonal event work with long hours and weekend working required throughout busy festival periods. Flexibility is essential.

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
