Process Operator
Process Operator - Portbury - £38,000  + Benefits 

The Job:
A leading manufacturing company in Portbury is looking for a Process Operator to join their mill production team. You’ll work across different areas of the mill to help run a safe, efficient, and high quality manufacturing process. Full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities:
- Operating the blending and pressing equipment
- Completing routine production duties
- carrying out basic fault finding on machinery
- Help maintain quality standards, follow safety procedures and keep the mill clean and organised
- Support with simple maintenance tasks and update production records

Hours & Shift Pattern:
This role follows a fixed 12 hour rotating shift pattern (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am) with a repeating mix of day and night shifts. The pattern includes set working days and regular built in rest days, giving you predictable time off throughout the year.

The Candidate:
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Works well in a team and has a positive, proactive attitude
- Communicates clearly at all levels
- Has some understanding of plant processes
- Can solve problems and think on their feet

The Package:
- Salary £38,000 per annum DOE

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
