Job description
THE JOB:
Our client is a worldwide market-leading manufacturer of agricultural dairy technology used on dairy farms and sold through agricultural dealerships. We are working exclusively to find them a Senior UK Director to lead and manage their UK division, including full profit & loss responsibility and management of circa 50 employees (directly or indirectly). You will also be responsible for driving UK sales, ensuring profitability, compliance, as well as drawing up annual plans for the division and will be reporting into the UK Vice President. This is a fantastic and highly varied role with lots of responsibility and opportunities for a successful candidate within a market-leader!

THE CANDIDATE:
Significant experience in steering sales and service organisations, managing privately owned dealerships
Experience in growth and change processes and performance transformations in traditional sales organisations to best in class sales management.
Advanced understanding in business development, customer relationship management, market development in a national customer base
Familiarity of working in a manufacturing company, with (dairy) agricultural business
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Demonstrated written/verbal communication (ability to present sales figures and business unit updates to divisional leadership team)
Entrepreneurial skills (clear drive to sell and strong customer orientation & understanding, ability to gain high levels of trust from customers)
Leadership competencies (ability to lead diverse teams, strong top-line and target orientation with a strong people orientation)
Interpersonal skills (power of persuasion, conviction, well-argued reasoning, proven to maintain & build up relationships and networks with decision makers and stakeholders)
Actively shaping a team on the basis of their ability, track record and potential, evaluating as well as coaching and mentoring to develop higher levels of capability
Dealing in a timely manner with performance issues
* General Management professional incl. P&L responsibility
THE PACKAGE:
Circa £100-115k basic salary, plus 25% bonus, Company Car and excellent full benefits package.
