Skilled Tractor Foreman – Arable Farm – Cambridgeshire – Salary Circa £40,000 (depending on experience) + Car!!
THE ROLE:
Are you a competent Tractor Driver with experience of working on arable farms?
We are looking for a Skilled Tractor Foreman to manage a small team on this busy, arable farm located in Cambridgeshire.
Reporting to the Farm Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge of arable farming whilst leading a small team of permanent and seasonal workers.
You will work with the Agronomist and oversee the day to day running of the farming operation. You will be a competent sprayer operator and ensure that all tractor work is carried out to the highest standards.
This position is suitable for a candidate that is looking for a long-term career in farming. A private vehicle is also available as part of this fantastic package.
THE CANDIDATE:
• Previous experience working within a similar role.
• Excellent tractor driving skills.
• Hard working and physically fit.
• Irrigation Experience – Desirable but not essential.
• PA1 & PA2 – Essential.
• Able to work on their own initiative and a team player.
• Full drivers’ licence.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary Circa £40,000 (depending on experience) + Car!!
