Trainee Machinery Sales Representative – South of England – Salary Circa £25,000 + Vehicle + Home Based + Great Training programme and Development Opportunities!
The Job Role:
Are you passionate about farm or construction machinery and looking for the opportunity to start (or develop further) your career in sales? Then this may be for you!
We are recruiting for an international machinery dealer, the position is placed under the Regional Sales Manager, in the South of England sales territory.
The successful candidate will ideally have either worked or grown up within the Agricultural sector. You will have a passion for machinery, an aptitude for dealing with customers, a ‘can do’ attitude, with great communication skills, educated to a good standard and comfortable and competent in the use of IT technology and online platforms.
This role will be 75% home based (after training), following up leads via telephone and online, and 25% field based visiting customers and trade shows.
The training programme for these roles is first class! There will be a 6-month part time initial training programme, with full on the job support from the Regional Sales Managers. Following this 6-month period, there will be ongoing training and support to ensure you maximise your potential and become a leading and successful sales representative within the machinery sector!
The Candidate:
- Passionate about farm or construction machinery.
- Educated preferably to degree standard in Agriculture, construction, business or marketing.
- Some experience within the agricultural sector.
- A great communicator and people’s person.
- A good work ethic and a sense of humour!
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Competent in the use of IT and online platforms.
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Previous sales or marketing experience would be an advantage.
- Physically fit
- Willing and able to travel as required and stay away from home.
