THE ROLE:
We are working exclusively one of the UK’s leading farm seed companies. This Workshop Supervisor / On-Site Supervisor (Agricultural Engineering) position will be based at their Staffordshire site. The role is responsible for all workshop duties and completion of maintenance schedules for a fleet of Farm Saved Seed vehicles. The role also includes operating and maintaining Farm Saved Seed machinery. The role will also involve supervising a team of plant operators and taking part in repair and engineering work, as well as some general administration.

THE CANDIDATE:
Most ideal would be someone who has experience in agricultural engineering work and management. The successful candidate must be a flexible and enthusiastic team member, with excellent organisational skills. The workload fluctuates seasonally and the candidate will need to be continually self motivated and have an ability to succeed in an extremely busy environment all year round. The role will be working in partnership with their Sales Coordinators to ensure our customers receive an excellent service from a strong, cohesive team. Experience in agricultural and/or seed would be a significant advantage.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary will be commensurate with experience/relevant qualifications. Circa £30,000 basic. Benefits to include additional employee benefits, contributory pension scheme and life insurance and a career for the future with a stable and market leading company!
