Global Product Development Manager – Agricultural Fertilisers

The Job:

This Global Product Development Manager – Agricultural Fertilisers job vacancy will be working for a leading worldwide manufacturer of agricultural fertilisers. Based from home, reporting to the Product Director, we are seeking a Global Product Development Manager to manage the product development of this world leader’s agricultural fertiliser product range, by identifying and guiding the materialization of market opportunities both by driving the development of new products and identifying new/better positioning for the existing portfolio. Key responsibilities will include product portfolio management, drive organisational strategy globally for product development and product positioning. You will work in close collaboration with R&D and business development team driving the product development to match the most relevant needs, following crop segmentation. You will work in collaboration with in-market colleagues to develop new products, conduct technical positioning and applications, as well as gather, develop, benchmark and distribute market intelligence information and analysis for the business globally, etc - this is a key role for this fantastic market leader!

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Agriculture discipline
  • Product Development experience
  • Well-developed knowledge on Crop Physiology
  • Well-developed knowledge on Crop Nutrition
  • International management experience (advantageous)
  • Business analytical skills
  • Market oriented thinking
  • Ability to influence and train commercial teams
  • Focussed result orientation
  • High adaptability / flexibility with a good cultural awareness
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • English essential, other languages useful.
