National Account Manager (UK & Ireland) – Horticultural / Amenity Products and Equipment.

THE ROLE:

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists have been retained exclusively for this major worldwide and well-known branded manufacturer of horticultural and amenity products and equipment that are looking for a National Account Manager to manage their customers within the UK and Ireland. This exciting position will be based in the UK (working from home) and you will be responsible for managing their national accounts and distribution channels, whilst also appointing new distributors for their highly innovative and market-leading equipment.  The role is really about cultivating relationships on the ground and cultivating a sales strategy going forward for the UK market.  The rewards are endless and career progression opportunities are fantastic!

THE COMPANY:
A major worldwide and well-known branded manufacturer of horticultural and amenity products and equipment - Extremely well respected in the industry.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Must have at least 3 years experience of managing B2B accounts – ideally within the agricultural, horticultural and/or amenity sectors.
  • Ideally the candidate could be currently working in a Senior Field Sales / Key Account Manager / Junior National Account position, looking for the next step on their career, into a National Account development position.
  • Preferably with a B2B/B2C sector background.
  • Must be able to drive sales through existing and new distribution channels.
  • Highly professional individual.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Highly effective influencer.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

THE PACKAGE:
