General Farm Worker – Surrey - Salary Circa £30,000 (Depending on Experience) + Fantastic Working Environment + Full Training Offered & Great Opportunity for Career Progression!!
THE JOB:
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Farm Worker to join the team at a family run, mixed farming enterprise in Surrey.
Are you passionate about the countryside, woodlands and forestry? Are you practical and 'handy on the tools'?!
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with a personable nature and can-do attitude to join the small, friendly team and to assist the Farm Manager with the day-to-day welfare of the suckler herd, woodland management, occasional chainsaw work, general outbuilding maintenance and constant tree management of a 50-acre Christmas Tree Farm at this picturesque location.
This is a diverse and dynamic role that will change and evolve with the seasons (with November and December being their busiest)!
This is an excellent opportunity and full training will be provided for the right candidate…… If you have the drive and ambition, then we would love to hear from you!
THE CANDIDATE:
•Hard working and physically fit.
•Competent tractor driver & machine operator.
•Able to work on own initiative and a team player.
•A ‘Can-Do’ approach to work.
•PA6 would be an advantage.
•Proactive and ‘on-the-ball’!
•Able to carry out general maintenance work e.g. fencing/field drainage/ditches etc.
•Full, clean UK driving licence.
THE PACKAGE:
