Aftermarket Parts - Assistant Account Manager – Herefordshire & Worcestershire – Salary to £30,000 + Benefits + Relocation Allowance.

THE ROLE:

Due to promotion, we are pleased to offer this Assistant Account Manager with a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist tractor parts.  Based in Herefordshire & Worcestershire, the role will be primarily to support the Global Product Manager. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to further develop their career in the aftermarket parts sector, to join a motivated and passionate team to deliver their range of parts to distributors and tractor manufacturers throughout the world.

This would ideally suit a candidate with previous work experience within the machinery parts sector (Automotive, Agricultural, HGV, mechanical engineering etc), who not only is comfortable in an office environment, but also enjoys travel! 

The position will be office and field based, with travel to customers (Globally) and to industry shows and exhibitions.

The successful candidate will manage new product introductions, parts catalogue and content development, conduct pricing comparisons, competitor market research, report against KPI’s, database (SAP) maintenance etc.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Experienced within the machinery parts sector (industry is not important)
  • Experience of SAP / ERM software.
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable with I.T. based work.
  • Experience of reporting against KPI’s
  • A Team player.
  • Methodical and organised.
  • Ideally educated to degree level.
  • A second language would be an advantage.
  • Willing and able to travel.

THE PACKAGE:

Starting salary: £28,000 - £30,000 basic (dependent upon experience) + 25 days hols (increases by a day for every 5 yrs of service up to a max of 30 days) stakeholder pension match funded between 3 and 5%, LA of annual salary x 3. They look to continually promote from within!
