Pricing / Product Assistant – Aftermarket Parts – Herefordshire – Salary to £30,000 + Benefits + Relocation Allowance.

THE ROLE:

Due to promotion, we are pleased to offer this Pricing / Product Assistant position, with a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist tractor parts.  Based in Herefordshire, the role will be primarily to support the Global Product Manager. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to further develop their career in the aftermarket parts sector.  You will be joining a motivated and passionate team, delivering their range of parts to distributors and tractor manufacturers throughout the world.

This role would ideally suit a candidate with previous pricing and product experience within the machinery parts sector (Automotive, Agricultural, HGV, mechanical engineering etc).  The position will be mostly office based, but will also include, some travel to customers, industry shows and exhibitions.

The successful candidate will assist with new product introductions, parts catalogue and content development, conduct pricing comparisons, competitor market research, report against KPI’s, database (SAP) maintenance, etc.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Pricing and/or product experience within the parts sector (industry is not important).
  • Educated to Degree level (Min 2 years post grad) OR Experince within a similar role.
  • Understand sales, margin and profitability.
  • Be able to create product roadmaps.
  • Experience of SAP / ERM software.
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable with I.T. based work.
  • Create presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Experience of reporting against KPI’s.
  • Highly methodical and attention to detail required.
  • Able to lead and work on several projects concurrently.

THE PACKAGE:

Starting salary: £28,000 - £30,000 basic (dependent upon experience) + 25 days hols (increases by a day for every 5 yrs of service up to a max of 30 days) stakeholder pension match funded between 3 and 5%, LA of annual salary x 3. They look to continually promote from within!
