Reporting to:
Heads of Department

Location: Position based in Lincolnshire  – candidates will need to be based or prepared to relocate to within 60 minutes travel time of the office.

Job Purpose:
There are two main roles within this position:

1) To assist our Agronomy Department
Main responsibilities include:

  • Liaison with our laboratory to ensure all annual waste and soil samples are up to date
  • Point of contact to the Environment Agency whilst providing additional support to our Agronomist
  • To provide support across varying roles within the Department


2) To oversee Environmental Compliance
Main responsibilities include:

  • Implement and maintain programs and procedures as set out by the company to ensure compliance with environmental regulations in areas such as air quality, waste, clean water, and pollution
  • Control, implement and oversee our Environmental Management System
  • Surveying Field sites / visits to ensure the company’s environmental policies and procedures are carried out
  • Subsequent reporting of Field sites / operations visits and relaying of information to Management
  • Keeping up-to-date on the latest government environmental regulations, as well as any new policies instituted by the company, to ensure that rules continue to be followed


Competencies for the successful candidate:
Skills, qualifications and practical experience

  • Relevant experience of direct involvement with agriculture
  • Knowledge of land spreading techniques and equipment
  • Current knowledge of Waste Regulations / Land spreading regulations
  • Knowledge of Environmental Management
  • Experience of dealing with the Environment Agency
  • Experience of detailed and professional reporting
  • Full UK driver’s license (Clean)
