Arable Farm Manager – Lancashire
The Job Role:
Working for a highly reputable family owned business, this Farm Manager job vacancy is based in Lancashire. This company proudly supplies fresh healthy produce – salad and vegetables to major retailers, wholesalers, food service, caterers and food manufacturing sectors throughout the UK. As Farm Manager you will work closely with the Harvesting Manager, running the farm, including managing all plantings and harvesting. You will also manage all farm staff (35 – 70), as well as manage and control all costs associated with the farming activities and ensure the smooth running of all functions within the farm itself.

The Candidate:
- Previous experience within a farm management
- Experience of agricultural farming (ideally salad and veg)
- Excellent relationship and managerial skills
- Ability to plan and organise own workload
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- CAN DO attitude
The Package:
Starting basic salary at £45,000 - £55,000 basic depending upon experience. Plus Commercial vehicle, Fuel card, Mobile, Laptop, Tablet, Pension, Holidays 28 days per annum!
