Area Sales Manager
Area Sales Manager – Groundcare Equipment – Cornwall (Hybrid – Truro depot & field based) – OTE £45,000+ - Company Van

The Job:
A leading John Deere dealership is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Area Sales Manager to support their growing homeowner and groundscare division across Cornwall. This hybrid role is based out of the Truro depot and combines field sales, equipment demonstrations, and client relationship management across a diverse customer base.

Key responsibilities include:
- Generating equipment sales across Cornwall through proactive customer engagement
- Conducting product demonstrations and follow-up site visits
- Coordinating installations and delivery of machinery to homeowners, landscapers, schools, and estates
- Building strong product knowledge across John Deere’s groundscare range
- Managing your sales territory and pipeline via internal CRM systems
- Delivering expert customer service and aftersales support
- Collaborating with depot teams to ensure seamless service and satisfaction

The Candidate
- Sales experience in groundscare, horticultural, or agricultural machinery is highly desirable
- Confident in dealing with a range of customers – from private homeowners to commercial clients
- Familiarity with equipment such as mowers, UTVs, Gators, and compact tractors
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage both office and field-based responsibilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Willingness to learn – full John Deere product training provided
