The Job:
We are recruiting for an ambitious, enthusiastic Assistant Dairy Farm Manager to join the friendly team at a beautiful, modern family run farm in Cheshire!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual with a passion for Dairy to work alongside the existing Farm Manager and to assist with the day to day running of the farm.
You will have the full support and guidance of the existing farm team, ongoing training and development, and opportunities for career progression.
The Candidate:
• Previous experience within a similar role.
• Experience in foot-trimming and AI desirable but not essential.
• Experience in grassland management/grazing knowledge would be an advantage.
• Passionate about animal welfare.
• Excellent stockman-ship with a strong attention to detail.
• A team player and exceptional communicator.
• Problem solver with a can-do attitude.
• Enthusiastic and personable!
The Package:
Salary circa £35,000 (DOE) + 28 Days Holiday + Bonus + Flexible Working Hours + Fantastic Opportunity for Career Development!!!
