We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join Transport Department as an Assistant Driver and Fleet Manager. Reporting directly to the Driver and Fleet Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and upholding our commitment to safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join Transport Department as an Assistant Driver and Fleet Manager. Reporting directly to the Driver and Fleet Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and upholding our commitment to safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Driver and Fleet Manager in managing the fleet of vehicles and drivers effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements pertaining to transport, health, safety, environment, feed safety, quality, cost and customer standards.
- Foster a collaborative working model within the operations teams.
- Act as the deputy to the Driver and Fleet Manager.
The Candidate:
- Good knowledge of transport regulations and hours.
- Transport Manager CPC qualification (National or International).
- Understanding of transport industry compliance, including Operator Licence requirements.
- Experience coaching, leading, and building high-performing teams.
- Class 1 LGV licence.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, advanced MS Office skills, and experience with vehicle tracking and tachograph analysis software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Prioritization experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Ability to lead the implementation of new policies and procedures.
