The Position:
This Assistant Farm Manager Job Vacancy is based on a highly 2400 ha growing base arable farm in Suffolk. A great company to work for, you will be responsible for management of this highly successful arable farm. This company is predominantly focused on fresh produce production, including both fruit and vegetables. This is a varied role working for a forward-thinking farm. They are looking for someone with experience of working on a farm and is highly enthusiastic about agriculture!

A long established fresh produce company which operates a fantastic large modern farm with the latest facilities and equipment.
The Candidate:
My client is looking for an enthusiastic person who wants the opportunity to learn about a diverse business and potentially be a stepping stone for their future career. Ideally, the person would have a practical understanding of operating machines, and vegetable production. Whether they have a knowledge of vegetable farming or not is not essential, but an interest in the crops and a desire to get involved would be critical.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be someone that has worked on an arable / fresh produce farm, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
- Looking for a hands-on Farm Manager job role.
- Living or happy to relocate to Suffolk.
The Package:
- £25K basic on offer for this farming role.
