Autonomous Driving Systems Engineer – Europe (Home Based) – Precision Agriculture Hardware and Software – Basic to £65,000 + Bonus + Vehicle + Enhanced Benefit Package!!
THE JOB:
This Engineer vacancy will be working for a Global precision agriculture developer, within their steering system division.
The successful candidate will play a key role in product design, development and support of a range of products and systems (embedded ECU’s, steering algorithms and UI integration).
You will be responsible for steering system interaction and optimization to a range of agricultural vehicles. Including developing CAN protocols to communicate between that machine and system integrators. To evaluate the functionality and performance of the products. Identifying and resolving guidance control issues.
The role will require extensive travel throughout the UK and rest of Europe.

THE CANDIDATE:
Essential
Degree or higher in engineering or related subject.
Previous autonomous driving system experience.
Full driving licence.
An excellent communicator in English – Verbal and Written
A proactive and creative thinker.
Highly self-motivated and driven.
Able and comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
Desirable
Precision agriculture experience.
C or C++ Software development experience.
An additional language (to English) would be a benefit.
A good understanding of CAN protocol.
Global Navigation Satellite System experience.
Experience of Inertial measurement unit navigation systems
THE PACKAGE (UK Based):
Basic Salary to £65,000 depending on experience.
Annual Performance Bonus.
