Broiler Farm Manager
Broiler Farm Manager – Yorkshire - £34,000 + Accommodation + Benefits
The Job:
An experienced and dedicated Broiler Farm Manager is required to support and oversee broiler farms across Yorkshire. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining exceptional standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, and site management while ensuring the optimal environment for poultry performance. The position suits a proactive individual with strong leadership and livestock management skills who takes pride in achieving the highest levels of welfare, productivity, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support daily broiler farm operations across multiple sites
- Ensure the highest standards of animal welfare, hygiene, and biosecurity at all times
- Monitor bird health, feed, water, litter, and ventilation to maintain optimal living conditions
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with Red Tractor, IPPC, and company standards
- Liaise closely with Technical and Farm Management teams to report on flock performance and any welfare concerns
- Supervise and guide farm staff, promoting teamwork, responsibility, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Participate in evening checks and respond to on-call duties when required

The Candidate:
- Proven experience in broiler farm management or a similar livestock farming role
- Strong understanding of animal welfare, biosecurity, and farm performance management
- Confident in leading and motivating small farm teams
- Able to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple sites effectively
- Full UK driving licence
The Package:
- Salary £32,000 – £34,000 basic salary DOE
