Cattle Area Manager – UK – Basic Salary Circa £40k, Car, Commission / Bonus + Opportunities for progression within the company!!!

The Position:

Our client is looking for a candidate with previous practical experience of rearing and cattle husbandry, ideally with some sales experience too, to cover several regions within the UK.  The personal qualities of this candidate will be paramount to their success within this role – you must be a people’s person, building relationships at farm level easily, be efficient and effective with your time, have excellent negotiation skills, work well as an individual and be a real team player.

This Area Manager, will visit farms to assess the quality and quantity of stock to meet customers’ orders, managing the supply chain from farm to customer.  This organisation is a market leader within the sector, with little red tape, you can be instrumental in the future development of the business. This really a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in livestock to progress quickly into the management of the company, with future Director opportunities available! 

The Candidate:

  • Practical Experience of Cattle.
  • Sales experience and/or an excellent negotiator.
  • Must be dynamic and ambitious!
  • Good written and oral presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • IT literate
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Sound negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Commercially astute.

The Package:

Circa £40,000 basic (DOE) and highly enviable full benefits package, including car, bonus /commission / profit share, etc. Plus, excellent opportunities to become a future Director of the business!
