Dairy Herd Person-Cheshire-Salary to £35,000 + Accommodation + Career Progression!
We are recruiting for a passionate individual to join the team as a Herdsperson on a friendly family-ran farm based in Cheshire. As a Herdsperson you will be responsible for the day-to-day needs of a 350 herd of milking cows, including twice daily milking utilising the Dairymaster system and grazing.
In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall health and wellbeing of the stock, following the feeding/cow nutritional regimes, and also undertaking general farm housekeeping duties. This opportunity would suit a candidate with previous herdsperson experience and is looking for a long-term role with progression!
The Candidate
-Previous herdsperson experience
-A good knowledge of working dairy farms
-A great work ethic
-Experience of operating farm machinery
-Full UK Driving License
