Data Statistician – North Yorkshire – To £40k + Excellent Benefits Package!!
The Job Vacancy:
This Statistician job vacancy, based in North Yorkshire, will be working for a major worldwide player within agricultural sustainability. The role will be working within their plant protection programme, whereby you will be responsible for providing statistical expertise to customers within the government, research organisations, as well as within the private sector. You will develop customer relationships and generate ideas and proposals, using novel statistical applications and methods as required. The job will mainly involve statistical consultancy including: advising on statistical components of scientific proposals; experimental design; data analysis and communication of results to scientists and their customers. is a highly-varied role, working for an international market leader with excellent opportunities for long-term career progression!
The Company:

The Candidate:
- Ideally degree educated in statistics or a related subject, with at least 2-3 years of experience in applying their statistical expertise and skills in a scientific context.
- Excellent general computer skills.
- Proficient in writing analytical code within statistical computing packages.
- Highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills.
The Package:
