Farm Business Consultant – UK – Home Based - Salary Circa £45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) + Great Benefits Package + Fantastic Profit Share!!
THE JOB:
Our client is a leading and successful independent provider of Farm and Estate consultancy services throughout the UK. Due to growth and increased customer demand, they are seeking to expand their professional delivery team.
You will be working with farm owners, advising on their business needs and helping them to get the most out of their farms. You will provide advice in areas such as farm management, financial management, business development, renewable energy and more.
This is an exciting and varied role for an energetic, enthusiastic individual who really enjoys analysing businesses and helping them to improve.
The successful candidate will ideally come from a farming background, have their ‘feet on the ground’ and a strong knowledge of farming and the industry. Hold a degree (or equivalent experience) in agriculture, and have a good head for numbers!
To deliver this will require excellent team working abilities, a proven effectiveness in self-organisation and deadline delivery and strong interpersonal skills, alongside an enquiring mind focused on delivering the best outcomes for farming clients and landowners.
THE COMPANY:

THE CANDIDATE:
· An agricultural background, ideally with an agricultural degree (2 years post grad) or equivalent experience.
· Good demonstrable understanding of farms, farmers and the issues that they face.
· Experienced in consultative selling to the rural/agricultural industry.
· Understands finances and accounts (Good with numbers!).
· Enthusiastic and conscientious.
· Excellent rapport building skills.
· Superb communication skills.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: Circa £45k basic (dependent upon experience). Plus, fantastic profit share + great overall benefits package, as well as definite opportunity for long-term career progression!
