Farm Liaison Manager - Scotland
The Job Role:
As a Farm Liaison Manager in this major organisations Bio Recycling team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient recycling of sewage sludge to agriculture within this specific area of the whole of Scotland, liaising heavily with farmers.
This is a varied role that requires you to develop, liaise and build relationships with farmers, land owners, agronomists, agents and others in rural communities.
You will be maintaining and building the reputation and credibility of the business, and overall promoting the beneficial use of sewage sludge as a fertiliser replacement.
Covering the whole of Scotland as an area, it is a field based role, with excellent opportunities for progression!
Job Responsibilities include:
- Identify recycling routes in line with the contract sludge production plan.
- Identify new business development opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new biosolid and organic waste outlet diversification opportunities.
The Company:
Major Biosolids / Organics Recycling Business.
The Candidate:
- To be familiar with the agricultural sector, especially in central and southern Scotland.
- Able to establish relationships with farmers.
- FACTS qualification ideal although not essential. They would be happy to put someone through their FACTS qualification.
- Must possess an interest in agricultural land / soil.
The Package:
Competitive Salary, starting salary at £28,000 - £32,000 basic depending upon experience + continual professional (personal) development + bonus scheme + pension scheme + company car or car allowance (individuals choice). Plus lots of additional benefits!
