Farm Manager – Fresh Produce – East Anglia. Excellent Salary and Benefits Package!!
The Job Role:
Working for a leading large-scale fresh produce company, supplying all the major UK retailers, with a range of soft and stoned fruit.
The successful candidate will ideally have a min 5 years’ experience within a similar role. Given the scale of the farm and packhouse processing facility, there is a large workforce, of both permanent staff and seasonal labour.
This position will operate at both practical and strategic / operational levels. The successful candidate will be proficient in managing the harvesting of produce, planning labour levels efficiently to meet the peak times, an experienced manager and motivator of a sizeable team, a strategic planner and thinker, competent at reporting on KPI’s and developing and implementing new processes to continually improve the business, experience of managing budgets and reporting, you will be motivated and have the personal attributes to lead from the front!

The Candidate:
- Previous experience within a farm management role is desirable.
- Fresh produce growing industry experience would be an advantage.
- Experience of managing a team is essential.
- Experience of reporting on KPI’s.
- Previous experience of managing budgets.
- Ideally qualified to degree level in an Agricultural related discipline.
- Self-motivated and the ability to motivate others.
- You will be a positive, proactive Manager who leads from the front.
- An exceptional communicator at all levels.
