Job description
Farm / Estate Manager – Hampshire. To £65,000 including accommodation.
The Job:
The Farm Manager shall be responsible for the operations at the farm and the premises. Duties will include general management, employment and human resources, agricultural and animal welfare, and production of award winning cheese.
There is the potential for this role to be expanded to Estate Manager for a candidate with the relevant experience.
The Company:
A 100+ Acre Mixed Farm and Food Production Operation.
The Candidate:
- Proven Track Record within a similar role.
- Experience of Arable Farming.
- Experience of livestock husbandry (Goats would be an advantage)
- Experience of cheese production would be an advantage.
- Managing staff and keeping records.
- Managing budgets and financial planning.
- Self-motivated.
- Demonstrated success of working pro-actively within a changing growing business.
