Farm Workers (Poultry, Free Range Eggs) – Mid Wales – Good rates of pay + Opportunities to progress!!
The Job:
Our client is an established farming company and is looking for an enthusiastic farm worker, or a couple, to join this family run business.
This is a busy free range egg operation, caring for in excess of 30,000 birds. You will have previous experience of working with livestock in a farming environment. The successful applicant will have great work ethic, be highly motivated, conscientious & a strong team player but also be able to work alone and use their own initiative.
Agricultural experience is preferred however no poultry experience required as on the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Checking the welfare of the hens
- Assist in the preparation of the hen houses for new flocks
- Daily egg collection from the hen houses
- General farm maintenance and housekeeping
- Driving licence would be an advantage.
- Good team working skills.
- Reliable and Punctual
