Job description
THE ROLE:
We are currently recruiting for a Feed and Raw Materials Manager for this major animal feed manufacturing company based in Cheshire.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To establish and manage a buying desk.
- Purchasing key raw materials for blends and compound feeds.
- Relaying plans and strategy to the team members under their management
- Create market reports and various means of communication to keep the company Directors updated with market news and views –via text messaging, emails and newsletter publications.
- Negotiating prices for feeds and minerals for all types of livestock
THE COMPANY:
A major animal feed manufacturing company based in Cheshire.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced raw materials buyer.
- Commutable to Cheshire.
- Well knowledgeable on animal feed.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: £40,000 -£50,000, depending on experience. Plus company bonuses, excellent benefits package etc!
