Fertiliser Manager
Fertiliser Manager - UK - Competitive Salary + Bonus + Car/Allowance

The Job:
Our client is seeking an experienced Fertiliser Manager to take ownership of their fertiliser division and drive long-term commercial growth. This is a key leadership role combining strategic thinking with day-to-day commercial oversight.
You will manage supplier relationships at manufacturer level, negotiate annual agreements, oversee pricing strategies, and coordinate seasonal planning from pre-ordering to final delivery. You’ll be responsible for managing product allocation during peak periods, ensuring seamless logistics, and supporting internal teams with technical and commercial guidance.
Working closely with trading, sales, and operational teams, you’ll influence major decisions on product portfolios, margin targets, stock positioning, and risk management. This role suits someone who thrives on building strong industry relationships, understanding market movements, and leading a high-performing fertiliser function.

The Company:
A well established agricultural inputs business with decades of experience supporting arable and mixed farms across the UK. Known for competitive pricing, reliable service, deep industry connections and a strong reputation within the fertiliser, grain and seed markets. They offer a stable platform, a supportive leadership team and genuine long term progression.

The Candidate:
- Strong background in fertiliser — trading, procurement, or product management
- Proven ability to negotiate with manufacturers and distributors
- Confident managing pricing, allocation and margin strategy
- Excellent understanding of UK fertiliser regulation and compliance
- Ability to analyse global markets, supply chains and cost structures
- Strong communication skills across growers, suppliers and internal teams
- Commercially switched on, with the ability to balance short term trading with long term planning
- A leader who brings structure, accountability and market insight

The Package:
- Highly competitive salary
- Performance bonus
- Car/allowance
- Strong pension
- Professional development and long term career opportunities
