Field Trials Officer – Worcestershire / Warwickshire Region – Circa £40,000 Salary + Benefits!
The Job Role:
This Field Trials Officer is working for a highly prestigious crop solutions company, working on trial sites in the Worcestershire and Warwickshire region.
You will support the delivery and expansion of the company’s field trial cultivation programme. Other key responsibilities will include managing the planning, cultivation, monitoring and harvesting of mainly cereal crops, ensuring trials follow GEP (good experimental practice). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to really develop their agronomy career with a market leader, that can offer endless future opportunities!
The Candidate:
- Qualified to degree level in a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Experience within a relevant field environment
- Trial site selection and field experimental design experience an advantage
- Experience in Crop Agronomy and soil management
- Experienced in operating agricultural machinery e.g., tractor driving and spraying would be an advantage
- BASIS qualification is an advantage
- A good team player and able to work on own initiative.
- Full driving licence.
