Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate products in the laboratory, including those new to the business.
- Research new market areas and propose innovative active ingredients and delivery systems.
- Conduct stability studies and maintain comprehensive records of results.
- Source laboratory and manufacturing equipment when necessary.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and arrange regular meetings.
- Source new raw materials and specify required analysis for quality determination.
- Reformulate current product range to address stability/efficacy issues and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Assess new raw materials sourced by purchasing.
- Technical transfer of projects from the laboratory stage into manufacturing.
- Write technical documentation including batch manufacturing records, specifications, and technical reports.
- Assess and advise on final pack stability and suitability.
- Complete all projects to the required standard within provided deadlines.
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of product formulation experience in a similar field.
- Good understanding of product stability and formulation science concepts.
- Understanding of raw materials commonly used in various product forms.
- Bachelor of Science Degree (min. 2.1) or equivalent in a science-based subject.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
