General Arable Farm Worker -£30,000 - Cambridgeshire + Accommodation

The Job:
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated General Farm Worker to join a progressive arable farming enterprise in Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on work within a modern, well-resourced farming environment. You’ll be involved in all aspects of arable operations, including crop establishment, spraying, and general maintenance across an extensive acreage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day arable operations across large-scale cropping areas
- Operate and maintain modern farm machinery and equipment
- Perform spraying duties both on the home farm and nearby sites
- Assist with cultivations, drilling, fertiliser applications, and harvest operations
- Undertake general maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure
- Support the wider team during busy harvest periods, including extended hours when required

The Candidate:
Essential:
- PA1 and PA2 spraying certificates
- Telehandler certificate (telefork licence)
- Proven experience operating modern arable farm machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
Desirable:
- Previous experience on large arable units
- Basic machinery maintenance and repair skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities

The Package:
- Hourly rate £14.00 per hour (approx. £30,000 per year)
- Three-bedroom cottage on site
- Full-time, permanent role (approx. 40 hours per week, longer during harvest)
