Glasshouse Supervisor (horticulture / flowers) – Northern Ireland – Salary to £27,000 + Benefits.
The Company:
Our client is a highly regarded, leading producer of horticultural products; including, bedding and pot plants, summer perennials, fruit, vegetables, and herbs.
The Job Role:
The company is seeking to employ a Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day functioning of its commercial glasshouse planting lines. Managing safe working practices and adhering to company Health and Safety policy, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, directing and controlling the activities and resources necessary to achieve daily planting targets and excellent production standards.
Note – International applicants with the desired experience (ideally commercial flower growing under glass), will be considered for this position.
The Candidate:
Minimum of 1 year’s previous production experience as a production supervisor.
Glasshouse experience (any crops or flowers).
Ideally holds a forklift license (not essential as training will be provided).
Willingness to work within a team environment focused on maximising production.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Self-motivation and initiative.
Excellent team player with ability to lead.
Good communication and organisational skills.

Salary to £27,000 + Benefits.
