‘Hands on’ Assistant Manager – Combinable Crops / Seed production – Gloucestershire. Up to £32,000 Salary + Commission + 2 to 3 year plan to progress to Site Manager!!
The Job Role:
This is fantastic (and rare) opportunity, for a practical candidate with hands on experience of combinable crops and seed processing and production to take the next step within their career!
The role will be broad with excellent support and ongoing training - practical on farm and office/ customer based. You will possess great practical farming skills with combinable crops, seed processing (ideally), have a good level of education in an agricultural related discipline, have a ‘can do’ attitude and the drive and determination to grow personally and professionally.
The role will consist of partly on farm with the hands-on practical element. The other side of the role, will be to support and advise customers and deal with the day to day operations within a busy sales office.
The progression route for the successful candidate will be to become the site Manager within 2-3 years max and have the option of owning shares within this long-standing profitable business!!
The Candidate:
- Experienced in combinable crops.
- Experience of seed production would be ideal.
- Qualified in an Agricultural discipline.
- Posses great people skills and be an excellent communicator.
- Some previous sales or customer service experience would be an advantage.
- A good team player and able to work on own initiative.
- Dedicated, loyal and trustworthy.
- Driven to succeed!
- Full driving licence.
The Package:
Salary to £32,000 + Commission + 2 to 3 year plan to progress to Site Manager!!
