Horticultural Sales / Graduate Account Manager - South Yorkshire – £25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus + Opportunities to Progress!!


This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a background (practical or educational) in Horticulture, seeking an opportunity within sales.  Working for a well-established business within the Horticultural industry, processing and supplying their product to the wholesale and retail customers.

This is an office-based position, where the environment and production facility on site will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to further develop their knowledge of all aspects of the business.

The successful candidate will have a background in Horticulture or a related sector (or have similar Telephone Sales experience with an interest and desire to learn about the industry).  You will be an enthusiastic, dedicated and driven individual, who enjoys the challenges of working to targets and who takes pride in individual, team and company achievements.

This role will be the company’s direct contact with customers, following up leads and enquiries, managing existing customers, and marketing and prospecting new customers, resulting in sales.

You will be a proficient user of Microsoft office packages, Social Media platforms and ideally have experience of sales management software.

Due to the continued success of this company, there will be opportunities to grow and progress within the business!


  • Previous Sales and/or Horticultural sector experience.
  • Rises to a challenge and has a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Well organised and the ability to work alone and within a team
  • Great customer service skills
  • A confident communicator and excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office package.
  • Proficient on social media platforms
  • An exceptional relationship builder!
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and tenacious.


Basic Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus + Opportunities to progress!!
