Horticultural / Soft Fruit Trials Coordinator – Herefordshire

THE ROLE:

This Horticultural / Soft Fruit Trials Coordinator – Herefordshire job vacancy is with a leading horticultural company. Ideally we are looking for someone at the start of their career within horticulture and would open this role to a graduate or someone with limited experience but with the right attitude. Based in Herefordshire, alongside the production manager, you will be responsible for managing the trial areas including operational and technical details and support central planning or analysis tasks with the wider production team. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of all knowledge transfer work within the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get into the horticultural sector, with excellent future career progression opportunities available.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Ideally we are looking for someone at the start of their career within horticulture and would open this role to a graduate or someone with limited experience but with the right attitude- fast paced, energetic and good at relationship building with an eye for detail.
  • You will have a basic understanding of growing within a horticultural environment, including elements of plant physiology, climate, fertigation, irrigation and pest & disease management.
  • Operations and planning within soft fruit is desirable and you must have good computer and presentation skills.
