Laboratory Technician – York (East Yorkshire)
THE ROLE:
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Laboratory Technician for one of our most prestigious clients in York - East Yorkshire. You will be reporting directly to the Chemical Development Manager and will work under the product development department. You will carry out practical laboratory work and testing, assist in the development of new products and processes, whilst also ensuring compliance with all relevant safety procedures including assisting in completion of Risk Assessments and COSHH assessments. THE COMPANY:

THE CANDIDATE:
We are looking for a motivated and methodical individual who can work autonomously.
The ideal candidate should preferably:
- be educated to A level or equivalent in a Science, preferably Chemistry
- have relevant laboratory experience
- have a good level of IT competence
- have good communication skills – both written and verbal – and an ability to deal directly with customers
- have experience in formulation or inorganic chemistry
- be familiar with ISO9001.
- have good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines and balance priorities.
