Senior Private Client Lawyer – South West – up to £70,000 + Excellent Benefits!
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Private Client Practitioner who is enthusiastic about estate administration and has a strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of our Private Client department. The successful candidate may have partnership aspirations, which the firm will consider via our promotion process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling complex estate administration, including estates with agricultural and business elements and significant financial investments
- Advising on Will Trusts as part of the estate administration process
- Drafting Deeds of Appointment and Variation with an estate administration focus
- Managing a successful caseload and providing high-quality legal services
- Supervising, mentoring, and coaching other members of staff, including trainees (aspirations for managerial responsibilities welcome)
Skill and Knowledge:
- Proven track record of dealing with complex estate administration
- Experience in advising on Will Trusts, Deeds of Appointment, and Variation
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or practising lawyer with at least 5 years of running a successful caseload
- STEP membership welcomed but not essential
- PQE 5 years or a minimum of 5 years of carrying a full private client-based caseload
