Managing Director – Agricultural & Farm Services – Scotland – Circa £85,000 basic + 15% bonus + great overall package!
THE JOB:
As Managing Director, you will be a strong commercial leader, be well versed on current and forthcoming government changes and how they impact on the Agricultural sector, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach to business planning and have experience of business diversification.
This position would ideally suit a candidate who has built their career on a strong foundation of practical farming / farm management, has experience of operating at senior level within an agricultural business and who is sales and profit focussed.
Demonstrating your communication and negotiation skills, you will also take great pride in improving customer service reputation and in maintaining strong relationships with principal suppliers and business channel partners.
Using your coaching and mentoring skills, you will be responsible for motivating and developing the management team and will promote cooperation and teamwork across the business as second nature.
You will be supporting the overall business strategy for the business, working on financial, marketing and all business-related aspects including diversification.
THE CANDIDATE:
Senior Management experience would be ideal within the Farming / Agricultural sector.
Must be located in Scotland or willing to relocate.
Experienced in farm / business diversification.
You will need a strong, hands-on approach - you will be working closely with the executive board - but will be given a lot of freedom and autonomy.
Full P&L Management experience - You need to set a clear financial goal and have good proven experience building sales revenue.
You must be passionate, committed and able to come into an environment and problem solve, and get excited about growing the business.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic salary Circa £85,000 + performance bonus at 15%, plus excellent additional benefits package.
