Pig Unit Manager / Head Stockperson – Tamworth, Staffordshire.
The Job Role:
This Pig Unit Manager / Head Stockperson job vacancy is working for a great farm that has undergone significant expansion, for this 350 sow breeding unit. You will be actively involved with all areas of the pig breeding unit in order to meet the business requirements for the company. You will be responsible for helping to manage the staff on the unit, ensuring the unit is kept clean and tidy at all times while maintaining the Health, Safety and welfare of yourself and your team. We are looking for a hardworking and professional stock person capable of managing their own department to join the team. The candidate should be competent in all areas including serving, farrowing and gilt selection. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and leadership skills.
