Our leading client is currently seeking a qualified Potato Production Director to join its dedicated growing operation. This recruitment arises due to the retirement of the current Director.
Job:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production of over 170 hectares of high-grade seed potatoes annually.
Responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the production cycle, including land acquisition, planting, rogueing, crop protection, agronomy, harvesting, storage, and grading.
Situated in Milnathort, Scotland, the ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of practical farming skills, effective communication abilities, and strong people management skills.
The role involves collaboration within a larger team dedicated to breeding and marketing potato varieties for the future.
Package:
£50,000 - £70,000
