Production Planner
Production Planner- 9 month contract – Selby - £28,500 + Benefits

The Job:
We are currently seeking a Mill Planner to join a busy production team at a well-established mill based in Selby. This position is ideal for a proactive, organised individual with strong computer skills and a background in transport, mill, or production planning — ideally within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
This is a varied role involving day-to-day manufacturing and transport planning, with a strong focus on SAP system management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate manufacturing and transport operations to meet customer demand.
- Manage production schedules to optimise efficiency and maintain product quality.
- Work collaboratively with production, transport, and customer service teams.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting using SAP and other systems.
- Continuously monitor stock, logistics, and production activity to ensure smooth operation.
- Identify and support process improvements to maximise operational performance.

Hours & Working Pattern:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 37.5 hours per week (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

The Company:

The Candidate:
- Previous planning experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong computer skills with SAP experience essential.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and work proactively

The Package:
- £28,500 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
