The Job Role:
We are currently working exclusively with a market leader, that are looking to recruit a Research Assistant for one of their sites in Gloucestershire. We are looking for an individual looking for a hands-on and varied role within crop science. As Research Assistant you will report directly to their Director of Crop Science and assist with internal laboratory, field and semi-field trials to provide data on best practice guidelines, as well as product development and new product design. The Candidate:
· A degree or equivalent qualification in agricultural engineering or associated discipline.
· Prior experience within a technical, research-focused role within agriculture.
· Accurate data recording and reporting skills.
· Experienced in trial design within an agricultural environment.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Ability to self-motivate and deliver to agreed deadlines.
The Package:
Excellent basic salary circa £25k-£30k (dependant upon experience) plus bonus, attractive rewards package and career development opportunities.
